UAE's Humanitarian Response to the Sudan Crisis: A Commitment to Global Solidarity
The UAE has taken a leading role in addressing the humanitarian crisis in Sudan, showcasing its commitment to global solidarity through substantial aid and support. As part of a larger $100 million pledge made in April, the UAE has allocated $70 million to support key UN agencies working in Sudan. This significant contribution is directed towards the Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, the World Food Programme, the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, the Food and Agriculture Organization, and the World Health Organization.
