This vital contribution comes in response to the recent re-emergence of the poliovirus in the region, posing a significant threat to the health of children under five years old. The campaign, spearheaded by the World Health Organization (WHO) and UNICEF, aims to reach every vulnerable child in Gaza, ensuring they are protected from the devastating effects of this preventable disease.
