The Day I Got Lost in My Own Neighborhood.

It’s not every day you find yourself completely disoriented in a place you’ve lived for years. But that’s exactly what happened to me one random Tuesday evening. The day had been uneventful—work, errands, a quick stop at the grocery store—and I decided to take a longer route home to enjoy the crisp evening air. What could possibly go wrong? At first, I strolled along, enjoying the quiet streets and the fading daylight. My neighborhood had always felt familiar and predictable, like an old sweater that fits just right. But as I kept walking, something strange happened. The houses started looking…different. I passed the same corner twice without realizing it, convinced I was heading in the right direction.
