UAE’s AI Power Surge: Building a Global Hub for Intelligent Innovation.

Image
The United Arab Emirates has rapidly positioned itself as a global leader in artificial intelligence through strategic infrastructure, policy, and international collaboration. Abu Dhabi-based G42 AI is constructing a 5-gigawatt AI campus, an unprecedented scale that rivals multiple nuclear plants in energy output. This facility is designed to generate up to 100 trillion tokens daily, enabling large-scale AI model training and autonomous system development, ensuring the UAE can host some of the most advanced AI projects in the world. Collaboration with global technology leaders, such as Microsoft, highlights the UAE’s commitment to secure and sovereign AI development. These partnerships do more than accelerate innovation—they establish the country as a hub for cross-border research and practical applications, while also addressing global concerns around data sovereignty and ethical AI practices. The concept of “digital embassies” emerging from these efforts demonstrates a fo...

How the UAE–Canada Investment Deal Strengthens Global Tech and Energy Collaboration.

Image
Up to $50 billion in UAE investments will flow into Canada following a new bilateral agreement focused on high-growth industries. The investment covers artificial intelligence, clean energy, and mineral assets needed for future technologies. This move reflects the UAE’s wider ambition to position itself as a global leader in AI and sustainable energy. G42 stands at the center of the UAE’s tech expansion, while ADNOC’s XRG arm supports major international energy ventures. Both countries gain from this alignment. Canada gets long-term strategic investment, and the UAE builds partnerships that support its vision for a diversified, tech-driven economy. This is more than a financial commitment. It is a roadmap for deeper cooperation in sectors that define the next decade.

Neben ...
