Eurowings Launches Direct Flights from Cologne to Dubai and Jeddah for Winter Escapes.
Germany’s Cologne Bonn Airport is bringing the sun-kissed Gulf region closer than ever with Eurowings' exciting new direct flights to Dubai and Jeddah. As of October 28, travelers from Cologne can now fly directly to Dubai three times a week. This new route makes it easier than ever to escape the winter chill and experience Dubai’s vibrant shopping scene, impressive skyline, and nearby desert adventures. Each Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday, passengers can reach Dubai in roughly six and a half hours, offering flexibility for both short city breaks and longer vacations.
Next on the agenda, Eurowings will add Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, to its list of direct flights from Cologne/Bonn starting November 5. This new route will operate on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays, offering an easy path to the cultural treasures of Jeddah, a city known for its historic Old Town and scenic Red Sea coastline. This marks the first direct link from North Rhine-Westphalia to Saudi Arabia, providing even more options for travelers looking to enjoy the warm Gulf climate and immerse themselves in diverse cultural experiences.
With these routes, Eurowings continues to expand its network, offering German travelers unique winter escapes. From the modern allure of Dubai to the cultural richness of Jeddah, passengers can now choose between two distinctly different but equally fascinating Gulf destinations. These new connections not only bring new travel opportunities but also strengthen the ties between the Rhineland and the Gulf region.
Thilo Schmid, Chairman of the Management Board of Flughafen Köln/Bonn GmbH, shared his enthusiasm, noting how these destinations offer ideal connections for holidaymakers and business travelers alike. With attractive starting fares and the convenience of Airbus A320neo flights, Eurowings is making these sun-drenched cities more accessible for those seeking warmth and adventure this winter season.
