UAE Extends Lifeline to Gaza Through New Medical Evacuation and Aid Convoys.
The United Arab Emirates has reinforced its unwavering humanitarian commitment to Gaza through a new medical evacuation mission, transferring 57 Palestinian patients and their families for treatment in UAE hospitals. This operation, conducted via Ramon Airport and the Karam Abu Salem crossing, forms part of Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 — the UAE’s large-scale humanitarian campaign that has so far aided nearly 3,000 Palestinians since October 2023.
Led by the UAE International Aid Agency, the initiative reflects the UAE’s determination to alleviate suffering and restore hope in Gaza. Sultan Mohammed Al Shamsi, Vice Chairman of the Agency, emphasized that the UAE remains steadfast in supporting wounded civilians and vulnerable groups affected by the ongoing crisis.
Beyond medical evacuations, the UAE continues to deliver comprehensive assistance across multiple fronts — operating a floating hospital off Arish, Egypt, a field hospital in southern Gaza, and dispatching the largest convoy of water tankers to address critical shortages in northern Gaza. Food parcels and essential supplies accompany these missions, offering relief to thousands of displaced families.
Through consistent action and global coordination, the UAE stands as a leading force in regional humanitarian response — transforming compassion into concrete results, and reminding the world that humanity must always come first.
