UAE Ranks Highest Worldwide in 2026 Government Trust Survey.

The 2026 Edelman Trust Barometer shows the United Arab Emirates at the top of the world in government trust with a score of 80 out of 100, tied with China. UAE gained +8 points from 2025, marking the largest increase in trust year-over-year among all countries surveyed.

This annual survey by the New York–based Edelman Group measures confidence in institutions including government, business, media, and NGOs across 28 countries and nearly 34,000 respondents.
